jessiebell Posted January 29, 2005 Author #2 Share Posted January 29, 2005 ok, I found it on a map on Carnival website. It is aft all the way at the back in the corner...you can click on the ones all around it and see pictures of the rooms, but not this one. I know I am showing my stupidity - but is this a good room? It is almost triangular...I am so confused...anyone who has been before - please help!
NHLady Posted January 29, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 29, 2005 The picture on Carnival wouldn't be a picture of the actual room anyway. Hey, it's a cruise, it'll be just fine! I'm heading our to the airport right now for my four day on the Fantasy!! -18* right now in NH,so I don't care where my cabin is, as long as it's takin' me somewhere warm! jessiebell Posted January 29, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted January 29, 2005 Have a great time! I leave home at 3 am next Sat morning ;) I am SO excited! It looks like my room is bigger than the others all around it...I looks like a corner with a balcony. if I got the huge room on the end, and my boss got the little interior room I will laugh all week long....my husband & I will love that! lrizit Posted January 29, 2005 #9 Share Posted January 29, 2005 Hi Serene! Thanks for asking. It was wonderful. Counting the days until the next one now. (I am getting a little spoiled) We got home from Cozumel and Miami in just enough time for a foot of snow and sub-zero temps! Picked the wrong week! It was 60* here while we were gone! jessiebell Posted January 30, 2005 Author #14 Share Posted January 30, 2005 does it really have a much bigger deck and room area, or is that just an illusion on the map? I was not sure, because I am not a lucky person by nature...if so I will just be so, so happy. We are leaving soon, and I just can't wait!
GoinCruisin Posted January 30, 2005 #15 Share Posted January 30, 2005 It has a wraparound balcony which are hard to come by, so I would say yes, you DID get lucky! What did you actually book?
jessiebell Posted January 30, 2005 Author #16 Share Posted January 30, 2005 I won the cruise thru my job (so I have already been lucky which is why I was shocked to see the room!!) So I had no control over anything - I did request a balcony and they said they'd try to get a window room, so I must have hit the jackpot!! I am SO excited! Thanks for all the info!:D
mcathy Posted January 30, 2005 #17 Share Posted January 30, 2005 Can't wait to hear how you liked it. We are booked in the same cabin 8455 on the Glory. I am not sure how to make the link work but here is the website. http://community.webshots.com/album/93500067nUgJex Let me know when you come back all the details please. mafiadon Posted January 30, 2005 #21 Share Posted January 30, 2005 You will love this cabin I had one on the Triumph and have one booked on the Valor on the opposite side that you are on,cabin 8448. The balcony is wonderful and huge, the room is a good size and the bed is an actual queen not two beds pushed together. You will be able to see the side of the ship and the back. I liked this cabin I asked not to be upgraded to a suite. Have a great trip and let us know when you get back how you liked this room. jessiebell Posted January 30, 2005 Author #25 Share Posted January 30, 2005 Can you smoke on the balconys? Hubby smokes cigars, and he was thinking it would be nice to sit out on that wraparound and smoke. I was not sure of the smoking policy on balcony - I was thinking that you can only smoke on certain places on board, but never checked on policies for balconys.
