deucbmac Posted June 11, 2010 Author #276 Share Posted June 11, 2010 So, after hanging out on the Lido, Sky, and even our room balcony, and snaging a bunch of shots, we looked out to sea and saw another ship making it's presence on the horizon. The question was, what kinda ship was it? and if a cruise ship, who could it be? Wait a minute? is that a funnel? oh boy oh boy oh boy! Looks like a funnel to me!!!!!!!!!!! deucbmac Posted June 11, 2010 Author #277 Share Posted June 11, 2010 As the ship made its way closer, we made our way to the front of the ship to check it out. I had done my research before we left and realized that the Carnival Fascination would be in Nassau the same day we were. As she made her way in, we snapped some marvelous shots. Which one is the Pride? Is it on the right? What a difference in size between the two ships....

Nope, just answered my own questions and noticed that the Fascination is smaller than the Pride.

deucbmac Posted June 15, 2010 Author #286 Share Posted June 15, 2010 Alright, so we made our way down and off the ship. We got thru the welcoming center and found a taxi over to Cable Beach and the Wyndam Resort. Mom and Sis were doing the Pirate and Historical tour of Nassau, but I'll get to that later. We got to the Resort in about 5 minutes and was dropped off at the Casino. We had to walk over to the Wyndam entrance and pay for our wristbands. The lady at the desk informed us that instead of taking a taxi back to the ship, we could take the bus for $1.25 a person. We paid, got our wristbands and made our way out to the pool and beach. deucbmac Posted June 15, 2010 Author #287 Share Posted June 15, 2010 Now, with our 40 per person fee, we had access to the Wyndam and Sheraton's beaches, pools, and a lunch buffet. After swimming around in the ocean for a bit, the wife wanted a margarita. I was also feeling thirsty so, I decided to hit up the cantina. I asked for a margarita and the bartender pulled out a massive glass. He blended up the frozen cocktail and I took it to the wife. [/url] Now, it was one of the best margaritas I've ever had. However, just like any freezing cold beverage, brain freeze can happen.
deucbmac Posted June 15, 2010 Author #288 Share Posted June 15, 2010 I found my new favorite drinking spot. We hung around the pool area for a while and then got dryed off and into the resort to get some of the buffet. They had some really good and unique foods. After finishing up, we walked up to the front of the casino where we were dropped off and waited no more than 3 minutes until a little bus showed up. We climbed aboard and away we went. We got off at the Straw Market and the wife walked around a bit and found a purse. After the market, we decided to head back over to the ship since it was close to 5:30. The ship didn't leave until late that night.
