Hawaii Fishing

Recommended Posts

We are going to Hawaii next April on the Spirit. My husband is interested in doing some fishing. Has anyone used a specific service while they were there. The halibut fishing in Alaska was great. We spending some extra time in honolulu so something there would be great too. Also suggestions on hotels in honolulu.

I hate to leave a fishing request unanswered altho' I've never done a saltwater trip in Hawaii because of (a) my queasy tummy, but mostly (b) because I don't like trolling.

There are bottom fishing options out of Honolulu.

Kona is reputed to be a great place for offshore fishing, short travel times to the fishing grounds but I don't know how options might fit with NCL's timetable/offerings.

As far as hotels, there's a zillion choices, see:

Wife & I even walked to the Waikiki Prince to see if it really existed and check on that price, and it does. Seemed to have lots of Australians around:)

We've stayed at Outrigger Luana, Embassy Suites(grand opener promo) and Maile Sky Court and have been happy.
