luvscruising2007 Posted May 25, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2010 We will be in Freeport and have signed up for The Dolphin Close Encounter excursion. I am just wondering if we will need water shoes. None of us have them, but I really don't want to risk injury to our feet. Any info is appreciated.

gottago2mexico Posted May 26, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 26, 2010 Thanks, I am really looking forward to this experience.Did you enjoy the swim? The dolphin activities are always a great experience, especially if you've never done it before. We'd done it several times before in other locations, but it was the first time for my mother in law and she loved it. Lots of fun vacation photos of her with the dolphins, showed all her friends back home.

scorpluvsdolphins Posted May 28, 2010 #6 Share Posted May 28, 2010 I would do the dolphin swim, not just the encounter. The foot push is unbelievable. Book on line and it is 185 bucks. Book througth the ship and it is over 200 bucks. It is totally worth the money! terri

I cannot get on my knees & need something like a rail to hold onto while getting up or down. Does the platform raise & lower?? Also have u been to Blue Lagoon dolphins in Nassau, if so how would you compare?? Thanks
