MiddleEarth Posted June 1, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 1, 2010 Anyone have any ideas for free WiFi in Montreal and Quebec City? Tim Horton's? Starbuck's? Starbucks WiFi is now a Bell mobility service and is not free straight out but if you have a Starbucks card with a remaining balance, teh serial numbers on the card will allow you to log in for 2 hours of access per day for free. Buy a card with $5 to $10 value loaded, have a coffee and get your wifi for free.

Twickenham Posted June 2, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 2, 2010 Anyone have any ideas for free WiFi in Montreal and Quebec City? Tim Horton's? Starbuck's? Thanks! Boston Pizza restaurants offer free WiFi I believe, as does La Cage aux Sports, however for the latter you need to be previously registered with an account on their website. brissygirl Posted June 10, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 10, 2010 You can get free wi fi connection at the cruise terminal at Qubec when you come off the ship, same at Prince Edward Island and I think Sydney. Halifax has a coffee shop just down the road from port buy a coffee and you have an hours free wi fi.

PennyAgain Posted June 28, 2010 Author #8 Share Posted June 28, 2010 Well, I'm home again. Free WiFi in Montreal was much more limited than I am used to. My hotel, the Inter-Continental had miserable WiFi and it cost $15 a day. The service for that was so bad that I got the charges removed from my bill. I love Montreal and will return, but I didn't enjoy the WiFi situation.
