Quester2 Posted June 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2010 I'm a newbie and I've screwed up already. Failed to sign up my family for an excursion they really want. How early can I board the Navigator to add our names to an excursion or to a wait list if it's already full? I need all the advice I can get for this cruise. I know I'll love it and plan to do many more Regent cruises without family, but this is a special occasion.
San Jose King Posted June 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2010 Last year we were able to get on board shortly after noon. You will not be able to get to your stateroom until approx. 3PM. The excursion desk was not open till 5PM. They will have a wait list, first come first served.
Emdee Posted June 11, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 11, 2010 You can call now and put them on the wait list. Then go to the desk immediately and see what you can do to put them on.
ededmd Posted June 11, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2010 Go to: http://www.rssc.com/ Go to L hand column: click MY ACCOUNT CREATE AN ACCOUNT or log on to your existing account. Go to the Add an Already Booked Cruise to your Profile: section and add your cruise information. Click: Book Excursions This will bring up a list of excursions by port. You can then check availability for excursions and times. I’m uncertain if you can waitlist electronically but it is worth a try and if not you will have the specific information you need to give Regent to make sure you get on the waitlist you want. Do this as soon as possible because for those excursions that are not “controlled” by outside availabilities, Regent is known to add additional excursion times if there is a large wait list. Good luck!
EZ99B5 Posted June 11, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 11, 2010 Yes, you can put your names on the wait list via the website.
ededmd Posted June 11, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 11, 2010 Yes, you can put your names on the wait list via the website. thanks for clarifying. I am all booked up so none of the 'waitlist' excursions were available for me to test the concept.
