rjrice1 Posted June 15, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2010 We would like to know how the cabins on the Dream 7203 & 7205 are. Is is a total obstructor and can we go out the "secret" side door to the deck. Any information is so greatly appreciated. We plan on going in Jan 2011 and booking tonight. First Carnival Cruise too!!!!! Cathy
bots99 Posted June 15, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 15, 2010 Those cabins have a good size window that allows in plenty of light and peeping eyes (if anyone is out there). The view is partially obstructed by the solid railing oround the outside deck. You can still see some of the ocean and lots of sky from the cabin. Sometimes the doors to the deck are tied shut from the outside by the crew - sometimes they are open. There seems to be no standard criteria for closing the deck. Be aware you will feel more motion during inclement weather in these cabins. Hope this helps.
Rare crewsweeper Posted June 15, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2010 Those "peeping eyes" have to purposely press their face against the window to see anything. Mostly they'll see glare and reflection. Also due to wind make by the ship, not many people out on the deck during cruising. No place to sit or lay on a lounger. If the doors aren't tied down, this is a great spot to be when the ship is entering or leaving port.
mississauga Posted June 15, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 15, 2010 The doors were never closed during our 9 day cruise in December. Great viewing area and many who had balconies came out there as the view was much better than from their balconies. Once out there, you also have stairs to access the 6th and 5th deck. You will love these cabins. Enjoy! :)
sabreboss Posted June 15, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 15, 2010 We have 7202 booked and were wondering how they were set up. Does the head of the bed face the window or the wall, and do they have a couch or just a chair? Thanks for your help

VTMOM59 Posted March 8, 2011 #7 Share Posted March 8, 2011 Now that you have been, can you send me the pictures? Also, were the twin beds able to be made into king? I am told some can and some can't. Thanks!
