HELP - ES change in cabins within same category

To change cabins on the ES rate within the SAME category would I be charged or is it free? :rolleyes:

Did you book through Carnival or through a TA? With Carnival, you can go to your account on their website and "mock" change it to see if there is a charge (I can't remember). Someone else may come along though and give you a more correct answer. At least your question won't sink to the bottom! :D

According to my PVP, as long as it is the same sailing date on the same ship with the same people and you are not going down a category, you can do this. So no extra fee, but don't hold my feet to the fire, just ask Carnival.

no charge i just changed my boys rooms same catagory just needed a room to hold 3 instead of 2 all i had to pay was the rate for guest 3

I booked thru Carnival ES and wanted to change my room to two doors down and there was no charge. Hope that helps.

That does help answer my question. I called Carnival and they said it would be $50 per person to change from 8A to 8A two doors down. I think I'll call again later get someone else and try it again.

There wasn't any charge when we went from inside cabins to balconies when the price on ES went down. We booked through Carnival.

Just called again and was told NO CHARGE as long as I'm within the same category and same amount of people.

I see you got it... yep, shouldnt have been a $50 pp charge... reps sure need to learn the rules. Shouldnt be us on CC telling you all the time. Carnival reps should learn all the rules too.
