bazzaw Posted July 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2010 Don't you just love these kind of Catch 22 situations?? The online application form for a US ESTA asks you for your address in the US - and has specific spaces for you to fill in Street, City, State , etc. Of course, my address will be C/O P&O Arcadia , dock Number ????, San Francisco and Hawaii. What have other cruisers done to fill this form out?? Thanks Barry
Rare Kinkacruiser Posted July 30, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 30, 2010 Makes sense Barry (c/- cruiseliner). Luckily we had an overnight hotel address to insert there. Anna:)
bazzaw Posted July 30, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted July 30, 2010 Got the correct answer from the P&O UK forum. The address is not a mandatory field to fill out - just leave it blank. Barry
rugbypopsie Posted July 30, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 30, 2010 If you book with a US agent you can use their address.
bazzaw Posted July 30, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted July 30, 2010 AS I just said in my last post - no address is REQUIRED to be filled in on the ESTA application. It is a non-mandatory field. It would probably be useful and slightly ease your way into the US if you filled it in when you are actually staying at a hotel or elsewhere ( but then you would have an address to fill in) . For arrival and departure via a cruiseliner, it is not necessary Barry

Rare MMDown Under Posted July 31, 2010 #7 Share Posted July 31, 2010 I left everything that wasn't mandatory blank. Why give more information than is required?
