US ESTA application - address while in US????

Don't you just love these kind of Catch 22 situations??

The online application form for a US ESTA asks you for your address in the US - and has specific spaces for you to fill in Street, City, State , etc.

Of course, my address will be C/O P&O Arcadia , dock Number ????, San Francisco and Hawaii.

What have other cruisers done to fill this form out??

Thanks

Barry

I filled out an ESTA because we may re-fuel in the US on the way back from Acapulco. I rang P & O and was told to just type in 'In Transit' instead of an address. I sure you will be fine if you put this. I got authorisation straight away on line and just printed it off.

From the US GOV Homeland. So i'd put MV <ship name> and the first port of call.

It's valid for 2 years so it's only the first night entry required.

What information do I need at check-in?

Passengers visiting the US:

Street address

City

State

Zip Code

Passengers transiting to a cruise ship:

Street address: Name of the cruise ship you will be transiting to

City: E.g. Miami

State: E.g. Florida

Zip Code if known

Rental Car pick-up:

The CBP will accept the passenger’s general itinerary if the address for the first night’s stay is not known.

Street address: E.g. Touring the Grand Canyon

City: E.g. Grand Canyon

State: E.g. Arizona

Zip Code if known

Unknown hotel address:

The CBP has indicated that they will accept the name of the hotel and the city if the full address is not known.

Street address: E.g. Name of the hotel

City: E.g. Houston

State: E.g. Texas

Zip Code if known
