the first day?

I have read that often the rooms are not ready until the afternoon but I'm wondering when they start letting people on board.

Thanks for your help.

I am usually at the peir between 10-11am and usually on board about

noon:D. I would rather wait at the pier than at the hotel;)

Just like Lois, a lot of people check out of their hotels by 11 and head to the port. Just keep your carry ons light because you might be stuck dragging them around the ship until your room is ready at 1 or 2.

But...if you go to your room and find your room steward, (who will be running around his block of rooms) you can ask if he'd mind you putting your carry ons in the closet (out of his way) while you have lunch. Just make sure all valuables are in your safe and not left in the carry ons.
