emilygrace Posted August 16, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2010 Has anyone used the laundry coupon in the new C&A books? It seems I read that Diamond members are supposed to get a reduced rate for laundry services and I was wondering how it works. Do you send out your laundry (not the all you can stuff in a bag one) and then take the coupon to Guest Relations, or do you somehow send it with the laundry? Thanks for your help. I can't answer you on what the value of the Diamond Laundry Coupon is, but in the old D+ coupon books there was a $5.00 coupon. This coupon was good for any number of items that you wanted to send out for regular washing and pressing. When I filled out the form and got a total, then I just subtracted the coupon and then put the coupon with the laundry form in the bag. The laundry department will see that the coupon is applied. brmoqueen Posted August 17, 2010 #8 Share Posted August 17, 2010 I always use my D coupon for the laundry....they usually just subtract the coupon.....(once they didn't subtract and I didn't pursue)... on the Mariner in June, they were supposed to have the 'fill a bag' day and never did.....I waited and waited and finally asked the steward and he said 'oh it was yesterday, sorry'.... I reread EVERY paper/compass that I had and it was not listed anywhere.......I think on that one they forgot (or he didn't give us the paper for it).......no loss....I still did laundry

kdowneymd Posted August 17, 2010 #10 Share Posted August 17, 2010 On our cruise on Serenade last week the diamond coupon was a 15% or 20% off coupon (I don't remember) which was to be used on the day there was a laundry special. Not for laundry sent out on other days
time4me2fly Posted August 17, 2010 #11 Share Posted August 17, 2010 I didn't use my coupons. Do you want them? LOL NOTE: Diamond booklet Here's how it's printed: WASH & FOLD LAUNDRY SERVICE $10 USD off one $25 USD bag of laundry on Wash & Fold day 2 coupons - one has (4+ night sailings only) and second coupon has (8+ night sailings only) Only valid on the day of the ship's Wash & Fold laundry promotion. Not valid for any pressing or dry cleaning services. Certificate must be redeemed when the laundry order is placed. Another coupon reads: DRY CLEANING & PRESSING DISCOUNT $5 USD off any dry cleaning or pressing services of $25 USD or more Cannot be applied to any laundry special promotions. Valid only for dry cleaning or pressing services. Certificate must be redeemed when the laundry order is placed. I think I only used the casino coupons, so if you want to know what else is in the booklet, just ask.
karena1 Posted August 17, 2010 #12 Share Posted August 17, 2010 I just used my "free" coupon on Freedom 2 weeks ago from our D+ book. there is a specific day of the week when they do the laundry. Our cabin person left the bag and the instructions on the bed. The bag is not very big and there are only specific items that they will do for free - tshirts, shorts, swimwear, undies, socks. I put in my workout tops as a "tshirt" and that was fine. You put the # of each item on the list. Then I put the list and my D+ coupon in the bag and the cabin attendant took it. They took it on Wed and we got it back Friday morning sometime. Came back all folded and in a bag bag that was sealed. So worked very nicely. It was nice to get my workout clothes washed.
