Central Park Balcony

Can anyone tell me if they liked having a Central Park balcony? I'm debating on paying a little extra for an oceanview instead of the CPB (12th floor) we have booked now. Also, how do you find out what category your room number is?

We had a central park balcony on our Oasis sailing 24th July, and we did not like it..... apart from the fact everyone passing the pool deck or sitting in the hot tubs can see right into your room, we found there was no privacy at all.

We also missed seeing the ocean and ports, it was such a smooth sailing that half the time we didn't know if we had even left port, no movement at all, kinda lost all track of time, so no.......... if we ever are lucky enough to sail Oasis again then we would def go for an ocean facing balcony

hope this helps

We were on the 11th floor CPB and agree that Oceanview is preferable. CP is pretty at night, but there was minimal use of the balconies that we could see. It can get hot and muggy during the day as there is little airflow (as compared to oceanview). And we also agree that it was difficult to judge when the ship was moving as it was so smooth sailing - and we missed dockings (coming and going).

All that being said, the Oasis is amazing! You will love it. We are planning the Allure next year.
