NYC to Sydney, Canada - best weather???

When's the best time to do a cruise between NY and Sydney, Canada? 17 Sep, 24 Sep, 1 Oct, 8 Oct...? Are we likely to hit any hurricanes?

I would say weather would be better in September. All your dates are during hurricane season.

You want to be in Sydney before Oct. 15. After that, Louisbourg is not fully open, and Louisbourg is the main attraction.

 

The autumn leaves will be better in October.

 

Hurricanes are unpredictable, so you just have to take your chances. Later may be slightly better than earlier.
