garden2 Posted September 4, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2010 We are used to Princess ships with the Casino, lounge shows & Princess Theatre Shows. Talking with couple about PG that said they were so tired at night after all the water sports & being so actie they fell into bed-so didn't care that there was not a lot of activity after dinner-around mid 40s. Can anyone advise us on activities. We are a group of women that travel together widows, divorced & singles age range- 60 to 80. We enjoy the shows plus the Casino nightly. Concern --being bored at night on PG.
sandandsea lovers Posted September 5, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 5, 2010 After the evening shows you can go to La Pallete, where they either have Siglo, their amazing band or the disco. Some nights they also have karaoke, but it was not very successful on our cruise, unfortunately. As previously stated, most people adjourn to their room after the show, (except for us who liked to be out until midnight).
Wendy The Wanderer Posted September 5, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2010 If your group are party animals, then La Palette will be your late evening destination for sure. Before that there's a show of some kind in the show lounge, different every night, and a lounge pianist usually in the piano bar. Then when us party poopers go to bed La Palette can be made to rock, if you like to do that. On one of our trips we were with a group who liked to party, and they had the disco rocking until very late every night. Another trip La Palette was empty. If Siglo's on board you will be very happy.
