BamaLady#13 Posted September 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2010 Several places in the reviews, "Carnival's Vacation Guarantee" has been mentioned. What is this, where can I see a copy of it, and how is it used? Just seeking information in case I ever need it.

LHP Posted September 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2010 Personally, I don't like the wording "other limitations apply".... if Carnival is going to offer it and advertise it ... then everything should be spelled out .. right there.... salty dingo Posted September 13, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 13, 2010 It is the one guarantee you definitely do not want to take advantage of. It means you cut your cruise short at the beginning and fly home.

DaytonCruiser Posted September 14, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 14, 2010 ..and YOU pay for your ticket home then YOU file to get reimbursed. ken Just to clairfy, you only get reimbursed for your flight back to the port of embarkation. If you didnt drive to port, its on you to pay for a flight back home.

salty dingo Posted September 14, 2010 #8 Share Posted September 14, 2010 Personally, I don't like the wording "other limitations apply".... I kind of like they way they exclude the "Cruise to Nowhere". As if you were going to get off the ship at Nowhere and fly back. I don't think Nowhere even has an airport. If it does, noone knows where it is. I could keep going on and on, but I'd better stop now! :D
