scrapmamma Posted September 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2010 I know only some carnival ships can accomodate a family of 5 but I was wondering which ones beside the one we're cruising on in November. I heard good things about the Dream and the Legend but I would like to know if they do rooms for 5.
firefly333 Posted September 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2010 Dream and Magic have the very few family OVs that hold 5. Any ship built year 2000 or before will hold 5 in any quad. (with a rollaway) cruisedeckplans site has the date all the ships were built if you want to know one in particular.. look at the date it went into service, easy. firefly333 Posted September 13, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 13, 2010 If you go to each ship, and then to more extras, ship facts, it will tell you all the dry dock dates ... people ask where to find that all the time on here.
scrapmamma Posted September 14, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted September 14, 2010 Unfortunately I'm not going to pay to access that site, but it looked very helpful!
firefly333 Posted September 14, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 14, 2010 Unfortunately I'm not going to pay to access that site, but it looked very helpful! All that part is free though ... I waited too long, they used to have a lifetime membership. When I went to join, now its by the year(s). I dont belong either. But you can see the ship dates and lots of facts and the s.f. ... if you looked. I think only the pictures of individual cabins isnt free. Iv even sent some pictures of cabins iv had and they pay me 50 cents a picture. Not much, but who cares. I only take pictures if I have a unusual cabin to show some feature(s). Rare Essiesmom Posted September 14, 2010 #7 Share Posted September 14, 2010 I joined for 4 years at $20. Steve pays $.50 for each picture you submit of cabins, and I have recouped my investment many times over in the last 8 months. EM
