can we walk to 7 mile beach from the dock?

Hi there, can anyone answer me we just want to go to the beach for the day - we are on the carnival glory 12/26 sailing - it seems like we can but want to make sure!!! Help

It's not recommended. It is about 1.5 miles, with few sidewalks, to get to the nearest end of Seven Mile Beach.

 

Taxis (about US$5-6 per person) or public buses (US$2.50 per person) are easily available and will save you a bit of heat stroke walking in our tropical sun. (Yes, even around Christmas!)

we took a taxi there and then walked back. it wasn't so bad.

I walked back also just bring some water, it can get very hot. Its about 1 hour walk to the closet beach club if you need some facilities. I would budget in the shuttle.
