louden Posted October 8, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2010 We are considering sailing on the Sun Princess in the future which only offers traditional dining. Does anyone know if you can request a table for two? Thank you for any information. Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadian folks on " The Boards " Cheers Louden

pamesacruisin Posted October 9, 2010 #4 Share Posted October 9, 2010 Just got off the Sun. Hubby and I requested and received a table for 2. It was "rumored" that the Sun will be offering Anytime Dining in the future.
Cruisers from WA Posted October 9, 2010 #5 Share Posted October 9, 2010 Odd...before the Sun went "down under" it did have anytime dining. We spent 17 night on her and KNOW she use to have anytime dining.

Yes, it did used to have anytime dining, but when they relocated it down under they took away the anytime and now only have traditional. The only reason I have read why, was because it was said that Australians prefer a fixed seating dining experience. Not sure how true that is, but that is what I read. ;)
Rare Kinkacruiser Posted October 9, 2010 #7 Share Posted October 9, 2010 On the last Sun Princess cruise ,I requested a table for two via my TA and got it. At the time she mentioned that it couldn't be guaranteed. It wasn't such a great spot in the end...next door to a busy servery area. You'll be lucky to get a window, which is what we would have preferred. So if you're not happy with the assigned table, may I suggest that you ask the Maitre'de for a better one. I have found them extremely helpful.:)
