Passports only for Voyager???

I know I know..passports are BEST but not enough time. Is a certified BC raised seal etc. all we need to cruise the eastern route. St. Thomas, San Juan, Labadee, and RCI private island.

It better be...that is all our group of 10 has and according to our TA, the BC will work just fine. :)

Just as an FYI, I stapled/folded/mutilated my passport on 1/14, applied for a new one at my local library on 1/22, received the new one in the mail on 2/9. It was not a "rush".

U.S. Citizens: A passport (valid or expired) is highly recommended as it will speed-up your check-in formalities as well as your departure procedures with government officials (if you would like to find out how to obtain a passport, you can do so at U.S Department of State Passport Services and Information website). In the absence of a passport, a birth certificate (original, notarized copy or certified copy), plus a picture ID card issued by a federal, state or local government agency is required. A voter registration card or Social Security Card are not considered to be proof of citizenship. Children under 16 years of age do not require a picture ID. Visas are not required for U.S. citizens.

You also need the Photo ID...Federal, state or local issued.

My TA suggested for married women a birth certificate, drivers license , and marriage license. The marriage license is to verify the change in name.

I didn't have to show a marriage license either cruise I took out of country. Your maiden name might be on Driver's license anyway, along with married name. It is in our state.
