Ontario Cruiser Posted October 24, 2012 #54 Share Posted October 24, 2012 Anyone checked out this beach lately (the one near the ship) We are going in a few weeks so I will let you know. If it is washed out we will go to Rainbow again. Have been to Sandcastles as well lots of small rocks. Ontario Cruiser
hueyjudy Posted October 28, 2012 #55 Share Posted October 28, 2012 OMG, thank you so much for this quick trip report about the beach so close to the port in St Croix. All these years I've wondered where I was when I was out paddling around in the ocean by myself, gazing at my cruise ship and waiting for my family. I became surrounded by pelicans fishing for their dinners, they seemed totally oblivious to me and dove and swam and flew all around. I must have treaded water quietly for 45 minutes ... it was magic. I'll be back in St Croix in 2 weeks and am delighted to follow your directions back to that beach. gkrebs Posted November 30, 2012 #56 Share Posted November 30, 2012 HMM wonder if now that the cruise ships are coming in, if the seahorses are still around the pier like they used to be.
