Future Cruise Deposits - not accepted

It may be a scam when it comes to FCC's, but at the end of the day, it really comes down to the final price. I am saving 15% vs. what local TA wanted for the exact same cruise, and I am getting a 5 category upgrade (Cat E vs. Cat H) at the same time. Even if you had one FCC, you would still come out much ahead and you just have to take this into consideration when you go to book everything.

As they say, knowledge is power.

Here is a question about the use of Future Cruise Deposits and Credits: if you book a cruise after the final payment date, can you still use the credit part of the FCD?

Obviously you can't use the $100 deposit, but what about the credits?

Thanks if Lisa or anyone can explain the working of this!

Hi,

Nobody mentioned the ship board credit with your Future Cruise Credit.

This is on top of the agency credit. We booked a cruise for April 2011 in a suite.

The agency gives us $50.00 per person and the cruise line $100.00 person ship board credit.

For an inside and outside it is $50.00 per person

Veranda $75.00

Suite $100.00

Something to consider when you price your cruise.

Chris.
