NCL Pearl Stateroom ? BE/GTY vs. BB?????

Hello Everyone-

Just needing some advice on staterooms on the NCL Pearl. I currently have a Balcony (BB) stateroom booked--10th deck 10014.

Now on NCL I could book a BE (none available so GTY) Balcony for $130 less per person than my BB.

Does anyone have any thoughts or any advice as to whether what I have booked is that much better than what I may get if I did the GTY? Or specifics I should consider regarding this?

thanks everyone!

You really cannot lose when choosing GTY for less money. However if you're the type of cruiser that prefers a specific location on the ship for whatever the reason, then choosing your cabin for will work for you. We always go GTY.

I think it is just the luck of the draw. I also booked a BE guaranty on the Pearl a few weeks before sailing. Looking at the deck plans, there are only 4 of them on 8 forward. We ended up with a BA on 10 mid ship and this was assigned immediately after we booked.

Had we gotten one of the 4 BE cabins we would have been okay with it. Since there are no obstructed balconies on the Pearl, we would have been okay with whatever they gave us, so the savings were worth it to us and we got lucky with the BA assignment.
