LostFan#1 Posted November 28, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2010 We're taking a transatlantic that ends in Barcelona April 28. I have found one-way airfare for $508 (BCN to D.C.). On a Kayak search, that price (Swiss Air) is followed by prices a couple hundred dollars higher. I have no sense of comparison though - is this a good enough price to jump on it now, 4.5 months out? Thanks.
CruiserBruce Posted November 28, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2010 Grab it. That is pretty darn good.

sable1 Posted November 28, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 28, 2010 Just out of curiosity, what site did you find it on? Not clear if it was Kayak. Thanks, Joanne

LostFan#1 Posted November 29, 2010 Author #7 Share Posted November 29, 2010 Thanks, everyone - I just booked our tickets and even got a cheaper fare (by $11) by booking through our Ultimate Rewards with Chase. So, $507 for one-way Barcelona to Dulles - we're happy, since all of you are happy!! We now hope to get a fare under $100 for Dulles to Ft. Lauderdale, and then we'll be well under the $691 HAL wants for both flights. JetBlue right now is $95. Thanks again - you guys are great!
LostFan#1 Posted November 30, 2010 Author #8 Share Posted November 30, 2010 Today, today, that same flight is $621 - soooo thankful to all of you who told me to run not walk to book it!! Debbie
