Leaving southampton we lost one engine and continued on the remaining one arriving late at our first stop where spares and engine specialists were waiting to work on the broken engine as we continued on to our second stop. We also arrived late here and both crew and passengers were concerned that we would not be doing the transatlantic crossing because the capeain had said he wold not even try it with only one engine.
