Walkie talkies in carry on for flight?

If we bring Walkie Talkies with us do we put them in our carry on luggage for the flight, or in our checked baggage?:)

Electronics of ANY type should NOT go in checked luggage. If lost the airline will not pay for them.

Carry them if you want to keep them, they'll go missing in checked bags. I recently flew to Puerto Rico with a GPS, walkie talkies, and a bunch of other electronics, my only mistake was stacking them all together in a tight case, it made it too dense for the x-ray so TSA made me take them all out and scan them separately.

Take the batteries out befor eyou pack them in your carry-on to ensure that they will not accidently turn themselves on in flight. Have a good cruise! :)
