Cozumel Bar Hop

One week till sailing on Century. WooHoo!

 

My boyfriend and I will be doing the Cozumel Bar Hop. The email I got from the company said it starts at 10AM LOCAL TIME (CST), which is 11AM Florida Time (EST), and to be there at 9:45AM CST.

Our itintery from Celebrity says we will get into port at 10am. Does anyone know if this is CST or EST?

I just hate to put a deposit down if we will not get there in time.

Your scheduled arrival is port time. Why don't you email Tom at Coz Bar Hop and see if he will wait for you? He's very responsive.

I've also recently booked this (looks fab). I wonder if this could be a case of ship's time vs land time? They aren't always the same. I haven't gotten the details of when to meet him.

I agree. It looks awesome!! I really hope my boyfriend and I can work out something with Tom so we can attend. A bar crawl is right up our alley!!

 

This was my email from Tom:

Your party is confirmed for a Bar Hop Tour on Jan 20 2010, starting at

10AM (CST), which is 11AM Florida Time (EST).

 

We are leaving at 10AM LOCAL TIME (CST), so please be there by 9:45.

Your guide and I will be sitting at one of the outside tables, wearing khaki

shorts and white t-shirts. (There's only one Starbucks in Cozumel!)

 

IMPORTANT: Cozumel is one hour behind Florida time (EST) and is the

same time as Texas/Louisiana/Alabama (CST).

 

I'm confused, but assuming that Celebritys information is local time (not Florida time), then we will barely be missing the bar hop.

Big bummer. Hopefully he can squeeze us in another time on that day.

Tom knows exactly when your ship docks and will wait for you and he did for us.

 

It was a great time, but a lot depends on the other people you're with.......and those shots of tequila? GREAT!
