Scooter Rental & Visitor Driving Permit

Does anyone know where to rent a scooter close to the port? Names, street?

 

And, do the scooter companies have the application for the Visitors Driving Permit right there at there shop?

 

I know in Antigua we had to go to the police station to apply for it.

 

Oh - and how much is a scooter rental a day?

Visitors' Driving Licenses are generally issued right at rental locations. The charge of CI$ (US$7.50) is added to the rental.

 

Only if you are visiting a friend and driving a privately owned vehicle would you need to go to Vehicle Licensing to get a visitor's permit. In Cayman, the police department cannot issue driver's permits

Check with Cayman Auto Rental. I thought I saw a couple of scooters when returning my car.

They are a 5-10 minute walk going left as you exit the tender pier.
