blondi_21 Posted January 18, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2011 I'm going on the Carnival Glory in a few weeks. I dont really drink much but it's vacation & I want to try a few. I don't like beer & theres only one kind of wine that I do like. But I checked they don't have it on Carnival so I'm bringing my own. But I do love bloody marys & lemondrops. So tell me what are your favorites?
navybaby1113 Posted January 18, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2011 My favorite is the Miami Vice. It's a mix of Strawberry Daiquiri and Pina Colada. Delicious!
SMSACE6 Posted January 19, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 19, 2011 I love the Funship Special on the first day/day of departure. It is a tradition now for me to have one or two at sailaway. I have recently however discovered the Goombay Smash! It has a touch of coconut in it, not too much though. Im not fond of pina coladas, but I like the goombay, because it only has a slight taste of coconut. Then again, there is the Long Island Ice Tea! Now that is one drink with a big "jolt". I used to get one just before returning to my room for the evening, and I would carry it back to the room with me. A good "nightcap"!:)
mongo59r Posted January 19, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 19, 2011 Carnival bartenders seem to have an excellent grasp on the classic gimlet. Perfectly dry and very refreshing on a warm day!

rkacruiser Posted January 22, 2011 #9 Share Posted January 22, 2011 On a HAL ship, I asked for a Miami Vice and the bartender made it with a rasberry daiquiri and a pina colada. It was just as good!

giswam Posted January 24, 2011 #13 Share Posted January 24, 2011 The Funship is also my favorite drink on Carnival, actually on any cruiseline I have been on. It is a fruity drink and has several types of acholol in it, I'm not a big drinker but it packs a little punch and it sooo good :)
magicfan Posted January 24, 2011 #14 Share Posted January 24, 2011 I also love the Miami Vice, so good when you are laying out by the pool. The mango swirl sounds really good too, I am going to have to try that one next month.
wantocruisemore Posted January 24, 2011 #15 Share Posted January 24, 2011 While I dearly LOVED the Miami Vice, Funship Special, Hurricane Wave, etc. the drink that I find myself dreaming after the most is the Tiramisu Martini. WOW was it good!
FlaGrl4Evr Posted January 24, 2011 #16 Share Posted January 24, 2011 On one of our sea days the pool bar made several flavors of Margaritas. My favorite was the frozen banana.

seguincruiser Posted February 6, 2011 #21 Share Posted February 6, 2011 DH and I normally don't drink but after many recommendations on CC we tried a Miami Vice last week. YUM!:D We had at least one a day. On HMC after having two delivered to us on the beach we couldn't believe they were both gone within 2mins. Will have to try the Mango drink next time. Stacer615 Posted February 14, 2011 #23 Share Posted February 14, 2011 How much do they approximately charge for these drinks?? They are soundly pretty darn good, and I want to be prepared. And not end up with a huge bill when I'm leaving! LOL
