Question about passport

OK, this is not specific to Princess, but there are many knowledgeable people here, so...

I renewed my passport in 2010, because the fees were going way up and it expired in 2011 anyway. When I got my new passport, it looked fine, except that my picture is extremely washed out and is hard to see. All of the barcode info is there and I know that is mainly what they use. In your opinion, will I have a hard time with this passport when I go through C&I? Should I also carry my previous passport, which has a much clearer picture? I have no intention of paying for another passport.

Agreed! I have had my pictures returned to me before they would process my renewal because they were not clear enough for them - so if they approved it and put it in your passport it's good enough! :) All the new passport photos are hard to see due to the security sealing. If you are really worried you can bring your old one, but you should be ok!
