Island Princess Obstructed View

I have been trying to find info on E517, with no responses so far. Judging from the deck plan, since that is a lifeboat outside your window rather than a tender, you should have a pretty decent view from the top half of the window, looking over the lifeboat.

We were in cabin E322 on the Island in Dec. The window overlooked part of a lifeboat (I guess that's what it was--much smaller than a tender). We got plenty of light and had a bit of a view (ocean & sky), esp. on the right side of the window. I was worried when we booked it that it might be one of those that looked right into a tender, but no worries. We don't spend much time in our cabin anyway & thought this one was fine. Enjoy your trip; we LOVED the Island and had a great cruise (Panama Canal full transit).
