The Independence Sailboat

:confused:Has anyone used this Charter service. They were suggested to us and we're just wondering how the experience was?

YES, we have sailed Independence with Pat and Ray several times.

Pat's sailboat is beautifully maintained and has this fabulous lounger in the aft of the boat, and also lounge mats on the deck. Lunch is great, her rum punch is the best too. Always a fabulous day. We are in photos on her web site which is cool for us to see.

Highly recommended. Please tell Pat that Lori and the gang from NJ gave her accolades!!

She will also arrange for a taxi to and from the ship to Red Hook (costs extra)

Thanks so much for the reply. I will give her your regards. It's our first time and since I will have two of my grandchildren (12 & 9) just wanted to be positive about the experience. Once more question. At 74, I am not as agile as I should be. Will going from the dingy to the sailboat be a problem?

My dad did the dock to dinghy and back when he sailed with us on Independence a couple years ago (at 75 or 76 yrs of age) so I would think you'd be ok. Just let Pat know and she'll help you out.
