Best Western Oceanside FLL

Has anybody stayed here? Looking for opinions please. Have booked one night pre and post cruise. Want a hotel on/near the beach. Booked through the hotel, and the rate includes shuttles.

Stayed there two years ago. It was decent for a one night stay. Its not really oceanside. There is a hotel behind it but its a good location. The carpets had a bit of a smell (i think they were new). It was very basic. We rented a car so I didn't use their shuttle.

Hotel was built in the 50's, same furniture. All rooms accessed from the exterior. Property is not oceanside. Ok for 1 night. :cool:

I'm also booked there for one night pre and post cruise. I've read mixed reviews, but most of the negative reviews came from people who stayed 3+ nights in a row. I'm sure it will be fine for our purposes.

We stayed one night pre-cruise in February and it was fine for us. It's not oceanfront, but the beach is close. (It was too cold for the beach when we were there anyway.) The breakfast buffet was pretty good. There were no shuttles when we stayed; we had to take a cab.

We are booked with this hotel in Nov/07. Does anyone have any suggestions about any other Best Westerns in the Ft. Lauderdale area? WE have gift cards for any of the Beat Westerns and would like to use them for the nicest of the properties . Would appreciate any opinions, thanks.

Stayed pre cruise last year. Great location could walk to restaurants and bars. Go out back door and you're 50 ft from beach Free breakfast. Rooms clean Did not have shuttle.
