Wine fee

I just returned from my cruise 2 weeks ago and I am drawing a blank as to how I paid for the 2 bottles (750 ml) I brought on board. I remember bringing them to a side table as we went through security and had stickers affixed to them. Now, since I hadn't been given my room card yet, how did I pay for them? Did I give the man at the table $30 or was it charged to my account that I settled the last morning? It was pretty hectic running back and forth to retrieve the bottles at security so my wife is clueless also.

We gave them our room number and then we saw it on our room bill stated as "venetian".
