renting snorkeling equip from Princ?

just wondering if the snorkeling equipment you rent on the ship is the same kind Kmart for $8.00?

I truly don't know what the equipment at K-Mart is like, but COSTCO currently has some very nice packages available at about $20 for excellent equipment.

Questions to consider are do you want to pack and carry that gear to the ship, and would you get enough use after the cruise to justify it?
