Carnival Excursions and times.

I am looking at booking an excursion through Carnival. We dock at 8 in the morning and depart at 3. The excursion does not leave until 11:30. Are the departure times listed on the website on Island time? If so what time ship time would we leave? I dont want to pay for the excursion and then only be able to be there for an hour or two. It is in Isla Roatan.

Always ship time, know matter what you do,go by ship time.

I know to go by ship time once we get off Im just wondering why they are offering me excursions that do not end until 6 pm when we depart at 3 pm. Just wondering if the departure times they have listed are different than the ships time. I dont want to spend $80 on a 6 hr excursion and only be able to do it for an hour or two.
