Vandecars4311 Posted April 6, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2011 After you board and you get through security, do they let you go straight to your room? I understand your checked bags won't be in the room until later, but can you you straight to your room once your onboard or do you wait to do that as well? Thanks :)

Babyberger Posted April 6, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2011 On most ships (and I could be wrong) you are not able to access your cabin until around 1pm. This was our experience on Freedom and Oasis. The doors are actually closed and locked accessing the cabin hallways. This is to that housekeeping can get the rooms turned over from the passengers that just disembarked earlier that day.

Marie51 Posted April 6, 2011 #5 Share Posted April 6, 2011 Thank you! :):) If you board early you can go eat lunch and walk around the ship.

Langley Cruisers Posted April 6, 2011 #7 Share Posted April 6, 2011 Boarding early is great and affords you the opportunity to take many pictures while it's not crazy busy yet. If you are on very early, you will have good shots of everything without other peeps in the pics (no offense). :)
