Mich3 Posted April 12, 2011 #28 Share Posted April 12, 2011 Wow ~ They should give these terms out with the vouchers! I never received this information (I didn't find it on the Carnival site either because I was searching for Friends & Family instead of Loyalty Program), the address on my vouchers does not match the one you copied, and my certificates aren't even filled out 100% correctly. pe4all Posted April 12, 2011 #30 Share Posted April 12, 2011 I looked into booking a cruise for President's Week 2011 (Feb) while on Glory this past Pres. Week. I found no advantage to doing so, except the vouchers for friends and family, which I knew no one would use. I knew the cabin prices before I got on the ship. I wanted my pvp to get credit for my booking, so I booked the Glory again for next Feb. the day I got home!
Mich3 Posted April 12, 2011 #31 Share Posted April 12, 2011 pe4all ~ I did learn the first time that we booked a cruise on board, that Carnival can book it under my TA. I think it still works the same way for my TA that way - at least I hope so! She has not told me not to do that. Since we knew what cruises we wanted, I thought it was easier than having to mail in the certificate later.
ajhunt2 Posted April 12, 2011 #32 Share Posted April 12, 2011 Wow ~ They should give these terms out with the vouchers! If you go to Carnival's FAQ's then search "Loyalty" that's what pops up.
Mich3 Posted April 12, 2011 #33 Share Posted April 12, 2011 If you go to Carnival's FAQ's then search "Loyalty" that's what pops up. I found that out after I read your thorough post, ajhunt2. The vouchers do not have that wording on them, so I had been searching for "friends and family," "booking," and "OBC."
