Dizzy Alphabet soup

OK, I’m a baby boomer (some would say almost a dinosaur). I don’t tweet, or even text. Definitely not a computer geek, know enough to get by. I grew up in a military household hearing acronyms and abbreviations from my dad. Then 26 years of Coast Guard, and can really confuse a civilian with our lingo.

When I started on CC (Cruise Critic) I too was having difficulty with all the acronyms. Have read on a number of post lately fellow cruisers having to ask what this or that is. Here is a short list of what I have decoded. Please feel free to add on to help our fellow cruisers. Today I did finally find where cruise critic has some hidden back in FAQ’s (frequently asked questions).

Sorry if some find this redundant, hope others find it helpful. Flame if you want. Hope it makes you feel better or superior.
