Monarch 8542 anyone?

Recommended Posts

I see our room is directly in the middle of the dots on the diagram. How bad will the view be, 100% orange?

Chances of an upgrade? There are quite a few rooms left in higher categories.. Will upgrades happen automagically, or is it possible to request one upon early arrival to port?

Not 100% obstructed. You will be able to see below the lifeboat to the water, and deck 7 promenade. You will not be able to see straight out to the distance.

You will be able to see the water . If you can before you go try to upgrade to deck 9 This our favorite on this ship. You will get a few more sq feet and a couch to boot. Views will be great you can see the ocean, the lights on Island going by and a good view of Coco Cay (if you are on that side).:D

Unfortunately the only rooms left that weren't connected were 8538, 8596, and 8096. I'm not sure how I feel about being directly next to the elevator or the bathrooms/public area. I'm considering switching to one of those, but I'm not sure that I'd value the view over being directly next to the public areas. Has anyone stayed directly next to the elevator?

I'm considering a call to Orbitz to switch to 8538.

Actually those end cabins are GREAT........you are not right next to any bathroom or elvator......there is a hallway between those and the cabins....

With those end ones, you are so close to the stairs and can just a quick walk to the theater/casino/Schooner Bar.........I would grab one of those..

and with 8538,you are NOT right next to the elevator..........

Those 3 choices are better than what you have.......trust me........I have been on that class many, many times and always try to book one of those!
