Stairs in Crystal Cave?

I've seen different information posted for the # of stairs in Crystal Cave. Some say 88 and one said 183. Can anyone tell me which one of these would be 'in the ball park'? Are the stairs steep or are they spread out? Worried about making it up.

Hi Nw,

There are 83 steps in Crystal Cave and 88 in Fantasy Cave (which is the "new" cave on the site. They are both pretty steepish, but not that bad for any reasonably mobile person. My 85 year old mother can do them.
