Splendor VIP when to go?

Hi: we are sailing on the Splendor on 8/28/11 and will have VIP checkin. We have two little ones so I would like to minimize the waiting time and get on as quickly as possible on time to eat an early lunch on Lido. What Is the earliest we can get on the ship with VIP? Shall we show up early say 9.30am or better to arrive at 10.30?

We sailed on the Splendor last March with VIP. We got there about 10:30. VIPs get to wait in a lobby type setting that holds, oh, maybe 40 people. There is water, juice, and I believe coffee. It was about 11:15 when Carnival then walked the VIPs to a roped area. We were told what to expect, what to have out, etc., then about 11:30 we walked onto the ship painlessly. You don't need to wait in the lobby. Let the kids be outside but stay by the VIP area so you go to the roped area with everyine else. Have a great cruise. Enjoy!

You are welcome. How old are the kids? We have a, will be when we cruise again, 10 year old and 21 year old. This will be their 4th cruise. By far the best family vacations we have ever taken.

You don't have to get there early. If you arrive after boarding has started, then after you check in, just go to the far right line at the dome (line specifically for VIP), show them that you are VIP and you will be escorted to the security area.
