divot33 Posted May 26, 2011 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2011 Hi everyone! In the Outside Staterooms, what connections to the TVs have? Composite, Component, HDMI, etc? Thank you!
nicolen1101 Posted May 26, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 26, 2011 Supposidly the TV's just got switchedout to flat screens, so only a recent cruiser could answer your question accuratly. This was the TV we had on Freedom which was a recent drydock upgrade.
Sequim88 Posted May 26, 2011 #3 Share Posted May 26, 2011 Not sure about the LCD TVs on some ships but if it is the old CRT type the only input we've ever found is co-ax cable. And secured with a cable shield at the TV end. So only alternative would be to bring special wrench and an RF Modulator to do channel 3/4. Monarch being an older smaller ship probably has not been updated to LCD TVs except perhaps in suites. On the RCI site the picture for an OUtside shows CRT type. ryano Posted May 26, 2011 #4 Share Posted May 26, 2011 Im pretty sure all inputs on all LCD flat screens on RCI ships are disabled or not even on the tvs at all. There were no inputs on the LCD TV we had on the Monarch. The Radiance still had the old CRT TV at least on deck 4 anyway.
constable145 Posted May 28, 2011 #5 Share Posted May 28, 2011 I read a review once that said people were able to connect their gaming systems by using the inputs.

InvKevin Posted May 28, 2011 #7 Share Posted May 28, 2011 Monarch had composite mono "Yellow and White" 5 times I went, last being in March. Only the suits had the new LCD's.
