Joanandjoe Posted March 17, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2005 Many of the "upscale" lines (Silversea, Crystal, Seabourne, Sea Dream) have released all or part of their 2006 schedules, and their 2006 list prices. Does anyone have an idea regarding when Windstar will do so? We'd love to be back on Windstar in 2006, since we aren't able to sail with them this year. philminn Posted March 17, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2005 A Windstar employee told me a couple of months ago that it would be late March or April when they release the 2006 schedules.
lovecruisingtoo Posted March 18, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 18, 2005 According to Windstar, they should have the 2006 itineraries published by April 1.
Joanandjoe Posted April 4, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted April 4, 2005 The schedules are now on the web site, through 4/1/2007. Some cruises show fares, some don't. I don't quite understand the thinking behind the schedules, which are pretty much the same for the months in which we can sail (May, June, November) as in 2005 (which, in turn, was the almost same as 2004 for the Spirit and Surf). One would like to see some variety from year to year, so we can cruise the same ship to different places. (We've been locked into the same three months for several years, and will be locked in as long as Joe has his present job; so we can't change sailing months.) Maybe Northern Europe, South America, or back to Tahiti in our three possible sailing months? No! Same old, same old. Excuse the rant, but an entire year's schedule is out, and we have only one date (2 cruises on 5/13/06, with fares not yet posted) that can work for us without repeating where we went on the Wind Surf last year. Are we the only people who can only cruise at fixed times of the year?
