jking917 Posted July 3, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2011 I have cruised with Carnival twice before and have 2 more cruises booked. How many cruises do have to take before I start to see benefits? Also what kind of benefits will be provided?
firefly333 Posted July 3, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 3, 2011 I assume you mean platinum which is on your 10th cruise. Not much you get now with gold.
AdrenalineRush Posted July 3, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 3, 2011 At Carnival, it is a pleasure to welcome you aboard again, and again. In fact -- starting with your second Carnival sailing -- you will become a Gold Member of our Past Guest Recognition program. With only your tenth sailing -- you'll qualify for the benefits of a Platinum member. And with Carnival's new Milestone program, you'll receive shipboard credit representing 25, 50, 75 and even 100% of your 25th, 50th, 75th and 100th sailing respectively. It's our way of saying "It's good to see you again." http://www.carnival.com/cms/Static_Templates/carnival-past-guest-recognition.aspx
golfadj Posted July 3, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 3, 2011 Until you reach platinum just the past guest party.
CanWeGoYet? Posted July 3, 2011 #5 Share Posted July 3, 2011 Well, not much but there is something - the past guest discount. On the Alaska cruise I have booked this rate was the same rate as early saver. I really wish there was something more before platinum. I feel like I've been cruising carnival forever but right now I'm only half way there.
firefly333 Posted July 3, 2011 #6 Share Posted July 3, 2011 RCL redid their levels this year and added a level at 8 cruises, between the 5 and 10 levels. by the time you get to 10 cruises there, you are on your 4th loyalty group. newby, then gold, then platinum, then emerald, then diamond (10), and then diamond plus at 25, and now they added one past the diamond plus for the die hards. Im emerald now lol .. sounds funny huh?
Martini Mom Posted July 3, 2011 #7 Share Posted July 3, 2011 After your first, you are part of the cruise addict club. That's enough for me! :D
elcuchio24 Posted July 3, 2011 #8 Share Posted July 3, 2011 Even after 10 cruises, the perks are not significant.
