Mark_K Posted July 10, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 10, 2011 We did the Wine Tasting in Tuscany tour and enjoyed it. I was only half a day, which gave us time to visit Pisa also.

vacation fool Posted July 11, 2011 #5 Share Posted July 11, 2011 We just came back in May and had a wonderful tour with Fabrizio from All Around Italy. We just wanted to do the Tuscan countryside and not places that were crowded with tourists. It was wonderful. The only "touristy" place we went to was San Gimignano which was great. We drove thru the countryside and made numerous stops one being a small little town that had a little church with the most beautiful stained glass windows. We went to a winery where we were just one of two groups going thru. We had a wine and olive oil tasting after the tour and were able to purchase items to take or have shipped home. We ate in a local family owned restaurant that had no tourists :) Fabrizio was entertaining the entire time and had us laughing. Highly recommend his company. Thank you, it sounds like just what we are looking for, I will check it out. We have been to Florence, Pisa and Lucca several times and have a couple with us that their main desire, on this cruise, is to see the Tuscan countryside.
