Golden Gater Posted July 16, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2011 I have read on CC that the Jade is going into drydock in November. Does anyone know what changes are planned?

Pokeraddict Posted July 24, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2011 This will really be the first drydock for the Jade since it was launched in 2006 as Pride of Hawaii, they will do the usual maintenance, possibly replace worn carpets, can probably count on the arrival of Moderno in place of Paniolo Tapas & Salsa Restaurant. And maybe they will reduce some of the Hawaii theme's throughout the ship allthough doubltful as they can still move this ship and only this ship back to Hawaii waters if and when needed. They could also move Spinnaker Lounge and put more suites in like they did on the Star but I hope not. Also don't know how big the casino is as they put this in as they were pulling it out of Hawaii waters. I know that Europeans are bigger gamblers than the normal NCL cruisers. In any event there is a lot of opportunities. 's certainly is a nice ship and just love the Great Outdoors eating/seating area.
Pokeraddict Posted July 24, 2011 #5 Share Posted July 24, 2011 It looks like the window of Nov. 27 to Dec 7 is open. I guess they will do this in Europe not sure.
