No more Quest scavenger hunt?

So apparently the Quest "adult" scavenger hunt got too wild and crazy even for Carnival and they have pulled the plug on it. Has anyone done it recently?

We were looking forward to it in October, but of course there are other alternatives!

I thought Quest was the RCCL name for it? Maybe RCCL told Carnival to stop ;) . I was looking forward to doing it on my upcoming cruise. The RCCL version always get out of control but I have never heard of it being stopped.

NCL also does the Quest game. And it does get wild.

They had it on the Miracle in Jan and have not heard it has been discontinued.

We missed it and heard it was awesome.

We were also on the Miracle in Jan. and it is funnier than he!!. Our friends participated in it and it was hilarious. ;)

I think this activity is not done on all Carnival ships. There are some things that the CD and social hosts must do, but many are optional and depend on the personalities involved on the ship's social staff. As I remember things, the only ship we've been on were The Quest was done was the Magic.

Just came back from Carnival Legend today. we did have a quest show. However, it was a waste of time. They only asked for about 5 things.. lipstick, car keys, two mens shirts, casino chip, man wearing high heels, and a piece of fruit. It lasted maybe 15 minutes. It could be done much better.. it should be understood that the show is an ADULT show. The quest on RCI was way better than the legend quest.

They held it on the Dream July 2nd sailing. It was held the night we left St. Thomas. It was very poorly attended, being held in a very small room (not lounge) so we left a few minutes before it started.

It was kind of sad! We had hyped it up to our family and then it was such a disappointment.

I wonder if the Quest game might be suffering from similar woes of the Marriage game? I have seen the Marriage game several times, and it seems like it has mostly the same old questions and punch lines....after a while it gets kind of "old" even with different CDs and contestants...I have never been to Quest (not sure it has even been offered on any CCL cruises I've been on)...but I imagine if you had participated before and the same scavenger "items" were requested, it would not be near as fun...also, contestants who participated in past cruises would already be privy to the items they needed to have on hand with them--also a bummer and not fun

I thought read something on John's FB page that it was being discontinued...

I had never participated in prior Carnival cruises, but did on my last RCCL cruise. It was our high school reunion cruise so we had a good group of people and had such a blast running around like idiots! One of the guys in our group was a real trooper and really did up the last quest (make a man look like a woman)...so hilarious!

Glad to hear I didn't miss anything. We went down to whatever that room was and there were only about 10 ppl in there and we decided to leave. I was really bumming that I had missed a good time. Thanks for making me feel better.

We were on Pride week before last and it got kind of wild...some of the men dressed at the end (don't want to give ending away) were kind of "having their way" with the male assistant cruise director, Pete who was in charge. It was all in good fun, but i think it kind of caught him off guard. Maybe not, who knows?

Had a CRAZY time with the NCL version on our last cruise. OMG the guys were SO FUNNY!

Also had a lot of fun on RCCL and even Disney playing this game. Hope we have a good one on the Dream in March for our first Carnival cruise!
