elliair Posted March 27, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2005 I squirreled away the Lotus Spa products left in our cabin bathroom everyday. I love the products (shampoo, conditioners, lotions, and small round soaps.) I am now out of everything, and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase these products online? Thanks for your help.
SharkieRools Posted March 28, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2005 I find the best way to get them is to jump on another cruise! :D
Flintstone Posted March 28, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2005 If they are the Steiner Products..you can get the shampoo and conditions online at www.timetospa.com. But I like the idea of another cruise better !! :D Deb
elliair Posted March 28, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted March 28, 2005 It probably won't happen for another cruise on Princess for at least 3-4 years. If anyone knows if there's another brand that they sell the same product under, would appreciate a name and address. Thanks!
bjboothman Posted March 28, 2005 #5 Share Posted March 28, 2005 I have a drawerful of the eucalyptus products that I squirreled away myself. I'm wondering if returning cruisers might create a black market for Princess bath products (joking). Have you tried the Bath and Body works eucalyptus products. I haven't, but I do generally like their stuff. As for mine, I have to make it last till December!
Aquarian Posted March 28, 2005 #6 Share Posted March 28, 2005 I loved the eucalyptus products too, especially the shampoo and inquired about purchasing some at the spa on the Caribbean Princess. They told me they didn't sell them but to keep checking the Princess website as they thought they were going to eventually sell them online. So far, nothing. tx2cruiser Posted March 28, 2005 #7 Share Posted March 28, 2005 The lotion is my absolute favorite - they really should sell them! I just used the last of my "supply" and will restock in May onboard!!:)
edeco Posted March 29, 2005 #8 Share Posted March 29, 2005 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=72801&item=5569085832&rd=1 Just for fun I checked e-bay, and sure enough someone has a listing. I put the link above. I am booked on my first Princess Cruise in May so I have not tried the products myself. Do all cabins get these? I have a balcony but not a suite. Last year we cruised on RCC and the steiner spa had the best smells. I purchased the eucalyptus oil that they used for aromatherapy. It smells wonderful and reminds me of my cruise whenever I smell it. Deena
Logie Posted March 30, 2005 #9 Share Posted March 30, 2005 I know I have seen some of the products available in the fragrance duty free shops on the ship. I am thinking it was the lotion....but that was last year. I will have to check again next trip.
bjboothman Posted March 30, 2005 #10 Share Posted March 30, 2005 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=72801&item=5569085832&rd=1 Do all cabins get these? I have a balcony but not a suite. Deena Yep, even an inside cabin gets them. I may be wrong, but I think the full suites get something else also - bath gel or something. The products shown in the ebay listing are all provided in all rooms. Hey, they are worth the $6.00 shipping he is asking plus the one cent bid! They smell very good, though I can't say the conditioner does anything special for my hair - I'd rather use my own.
Kallen Posted March 30, 2005 #11 Share Posted March 30, 2005 I tried unsuccessfully on the Grand last year and on the Dawn this year to buy the shampoo and lotion. Neither the spa nor the shops sell it, so I'm thinking that the only way to get it is to take another cruise. Kerry
seastar2 Posted March 30, 2005 #12 Share Posted March 30, 2005 From the amount in the ebay listing it sounds like the seller has about a one week cruise worth..as an op said worth the shipping alone to get...:D With all the nickel and diming the ships do you would think that they would sell these products!!!! regnig Posted March 30, 2005 #13 Share Posted March 30, 2005 Steiner's web site is http://www.steinerleisure.com/steinerSite.html Although a quick seach didn't turn up any LotuSpa Eucalyptus products there is a toll free number you could call. Although the bathroom products on board read LotuSpa, I'm not convinced they are really a Steiner product. I believe "LotuSpa" is not a Steiner exclusive name. I have in the past ordered Steiner products directly from Steiner and found them very dependable so it might be worth a call. I have some of the Elemis Exotic Island Flower Blend Oil, very pricy but I had a gift certificate, and it is as close to walking into an onboard LotuSpa as one can get. Looking at the label on one of the bottles of the Eucalptus Bath Gel I brought home from the Star this March (was Elite so the bath came supplied with it) it reads "Developed by XELAPack". Their web site is http://www.xelapack.com but unless you have LOTS of friends you want to give/sell the stuff to it is not for individual use. I do have some of Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Eucalyptus Spearmint products and they are a close second to the LotuSpa Eucalyptus fragrance.
