Typhoon1 Posted September 2, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2011 Based on the press release, it does not appear to be anything other than the normal hurricane damage. Downed trees, beach erosion. That beach gets smaller each year. Soon, there will be nothing left.
eh2zed Posted September 5, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted September 5, 2011 Based on the press release, it does not appear to be anything other than the normal hurricane damage. Downed trees, beach erosion. That beach gets smaller each year. Soon, there will be nothing left. There are apparently beach replenishment companies that can be brought in to try to fix the problem. You can also see where the water line was up near the cabanas...I only noticed that because Id been there before. Again, no big deal and was amazing! Typhoon1 Posted September 17, 2011 #10 Share Posted September 17, 2011 It's probably safe to assume there will be some beach restoration before the busy winter season begains. It's up and running now, but slowly additional improvements will be made.

I will say for Cabana #12 the fan/mister broke :(..the floor style fan. I lifted it to move it over and the whole thing snapped off of the base....I'm sure they will replace it before your visit :) Otherwise great cabana!!
